The Challenge
Central Sulawesi's job market still relies heavily on listings scattered across channels: physical bulletin boards, WhatsApp groups, or national job boards that aren't focused on local context. For Sulteng job seekers, finding listings relevant to their location — especially official, verified ones — takes real effort. On the other side, local companies looking to reach regional talent have no structured channel to publish openings in a trusted way.

What We Built
Banua Coder partnered with the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government and corporate partners to build Sikerja — a mobile app that becomes the single storefront for official Sulteng job listings. Partner companies publish openings through Sikerja, and job seekers can search, filter, and apply directly from the app. Because the platform runs as an official partnership with the provincial government, both job seekers and employers get a higher trust layer than a generic job board.
Context
Sikerja is a mobile employment portal app for the people of Central Sulawesi, built as a partnership between the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government and corporate partners across the province. Its goal: give Sulteng job seekers a single trusted channel to find official listings supplied by partner companies, and give partner companies an official channel to reach local talent with the provincial government as the verification layer.
What We Built
- Job-seeker mobile app: Search-first interface with filters for location, industry, and experience level; job-seeker profile; and a lightweight application flow.
- Partner-company dashboard: Admin side for partner companies to publish listings, manage incoming applications, and view basic analytics.
- Pemprov verification system: Backend that lets the provincial team verify partner companies and monitor the quality of published listings.
- Push notifications: Job seekers receive alerts for new listings matching their profile and filters.

Impact
Sikerja is one of the Central Sulawesi provincial government’s digital employment initiatives that was built with engineering depth — not just a job board listing. The official partnership with the provincial government and partner corporations gives the platform a different position from generic job boards: listings on Sikerja have already passed the provincial verification layer, so Sulteng job seekers can use it with a higher level of trust.
